The Uber Melons Clan
About us
In April of 2008, a select few, guided by Squeezetoy, broke away from their previous clan to create their own. This new team would be based upon the ideals of competition, cooperation, community, but most importantly of all, fun. The first task was to decide upon a name. A great deal of consideration went into deciding upon the proper one, but finally: The Uber Melons was singled out and chosen. It summed up the essence of what the players stood for, because this was no ordinary clan. The Uber Melons had big plans for their team, and rose quickly in both competitive play and server popularity. Shiverwarp managed the server administration tasks whilst Squeezetoy lead the team in matches and practice.
Today we still embrace the original ideals created in the forming of the clan. The competitive play and community continue to grow and prosper within the clan, and as always, the emphasis is on having fun! Remember: There's no melon like an uber melon!

Skyler L. appointed chairman of Uber Melons
Published on February 25, 2009 by Admin On Monday the 24th of February Skyler Lamberson was appointed chairman of Uber Melons Clan. Ownership and administrative positions currently held within the clan by Squeezetoy and Shiverwarp will remain. Skyler’s main role as chairman will be to propose new strategies and changes to help better the team, these will be approved or rejected by the clan administration. Other duties will include coordinating logistical operations and server regulation.Forum Updates

Great job, we are also currently undefeated and have not even had a team score 1 point on us in all the matches we have played and won.Happy 1 Month Anniversary Melons!
Published on May 17, 2008 by Squeezetoy We've done it!! One month ago today I went off on my adventure to begin the Uber Melons. Without everyone's help we would not be here today. THANK YOU!! We have had an amazing journey and have come leaps and bounds in one month.To show this, here is some random UM and Melon Pit info:
- The Pit went from the 1481st server to 165th in 1 month
- The Pit is now in the top 92nd percentile!
- We have had about 5,450 different people visit the Melon Pit
- 71 people have registered on our forums
- 142 members in our public Melon Pit steam group
- The Uber Melons are 22 members and recruits strong!
- UM is undefeated on TWL and rank 29!
